In order to setup PayPal Subscription Pro to function properly there are a couple a steps you need to perform:

• Activate the Instant Payment Notification option from your PayPal Account. To do so you need to:
  • from the 'MyAccount' tab click on the Profile Option. A Profile Summary will appear.
  • under the Selling Preferences Heading you will see an option: 'Instant Payment Notification Preferences'
  • In order to activate your Instant Payment Notification you need to provide an URL to which the IPN notifications will be sent to. The URL will point to the address of the site where you installed the PayPal Subscription Pro component.
  • We have generated the URL address automatically for your site. All you need to do is to copy and paste it in the IPN field in your Paypal profile.This URL is available in the configuration manual in the component's backend.

PayPal sends IPN notifications to the address you have set-up so this must be setup for the subscriptions to work on your site

Using the component

To start using your subscription plans you need to create a new menu item that will point to the component.
To do this go to the main menu you are using on your web site and add a new menu item that will use the MGSPaypalSubscription component. See bellow.

Naming Configuration

Emails are sent on behalf of your business. To make sure you have the correct settings please check Global Configuration -> Mail Settings.. From Name should be sent with the name of your company.
